Document of Record
Terms of Service
Effective 7 May 2026 · Last updated 7 May 2026 · Folio II
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Dmitrii Demin, a sole trader registered in Georgia (the country) (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”), and govern your use of the Muniment iOS application and related services (the “Service”). By installing or using the Service, you accept these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 where higher consent age applies under GDPR), with legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for confirming that your use of Muniment is lawful in your jurisdiction.
The Service
Muniment helps you record and track product warranties, receipts, and related documents. It includes local storage; optional iCloud sync; optional AI Scan via a third-party provider (OpenAI); local-notification reminders before warranty expiry; and PDF/CSV export.
The Service is provided “AS IS”
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
- AI Scan results are estimates. The model may misread fields, return wrong dates, miss data, or hallucinate. Review and correct extracted information before relying on it.
- Warranty expiry reminders are estimates. Always verify entitlement directly with the manufacturer or retailer.
- iCloud sync is provided by Apple. Synchronisation timing and integrity are subject to iCloud’s behaviour, which we do not control.
- The Service is not legal, financial, or insurance advice.
Subscriptions, free trial, billing
Apple is the seller
All purchases are processed by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple charges your payment method.
Free trial (when eligible)
The annual plan may be offered with a free trial of the duration shown on the paywall. The trial begins when you confirm the purchase. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, your subscription renews automatically and Apple will charge the price shown for the first paid period.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the price disclosed on the paywall, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Cancellation
Cancel anytime via Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → Muniment → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds
Refunds are issued by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, governed by Apple’s terms and by mandatory consumer-protection law where you live.
Family Sharing
Where enabled by us in App Store Connect, an active Muniment Pro subscription may be shared via Apple’s Family Sharing with up to five other family members.
Your content
You own your content. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, transmit, and process your content only to the extent strictly necessary to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload anything you submit.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer the Service; circumvent rate limits; submit content that is not yours where doing so violates another’s rights; submit content designed to attack our backend or our AI provider; use the Service for illegal activity; or resell the Service at scale.
Intellectual property
The Muniment app, brand, design, and code are owned by the Operator. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us through Apple in the preceding twelve months and (b) USD 50. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law (gross negligence, intentional misconduct, fraud, death or personal injury where applicable).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify the Operator from third-party claims arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law, or (c) your content infringing third-party rights — except to the extent the claim arises from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach or where required by law. Sections that should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) survive termination.
Changes
We may modify the Service or these Terms. For material changes, we will notify you in-app before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (the country). The competent courts of Tbilisi, Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in the EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland, or any jurisdiction granting non-waivable consumer protection retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence and benefit from mandatory consumer-protection law of their habitual residence.
Apple-specific terms
- These Terms are concluded between you and the Operator only — not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
- If the Service fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- The Operator (not Apple) is responsible for product liability claims, claims that the Service fails to conform with legal requirements, and claims arising under consumer-protection law.
- The Operator (not Apple) is responsible for IP-infringement claims relating to the Service.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and not on any U.S. prohibited-parties list.
- Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement.
